Position summary:

As Business Development Manager China, you will represent Avira with our strategic accounts and partners. You will support the OEM team with the goal to open up new markets within China.
Are you a born salesperson who enjoys building long-lasting relationships with customers? Then you might be the perfect fit for this exciting opportunity.

Your tasks:

Full responsibility for achieving budgeted sales targets by consolidating existing OEM accounts in China, exploring further opportunities in new territories, and "hunting" for a new customer base.

  • Identify new regions in China, prioritize regions, set up target account lists, and establish new OEM technology accounts 
  • Bring your experience to bear of working within China
  • Identify, screen & negotiate contracts with security hardware & software vendors to build and grow OEM licensing revenues
  • Initiate, set up, develop, and maintain long-term strategic business partnerships with the new clients
  • Provide constant feedback to the assigned Product Management team to further influence and develop the product roadmap by collecting, screening, and analyzing the market and the competition
  • Work closely and build strong business relationships with senior management, technical peer groups, product management, and OEM Business Development Managers on a worldwide basis
  • Constantly screen the technology landscape for new monetization, distribution partners, or product opportunities, and align with senior management & internal Online Sales and Marketing teams 

Your profile:

  • Solid mix of corporate direct sales, technical background, and online sales experience
  • Enjoy lasting customer relationships and closing long sales cycles, high-value deals > 100k EUR
  • Ability to perform sales and marketing presentations/deliver training to executives
  • "Hunter" attitude and willingness to build lasting partnerships over time
  • Strong communication skills over the phone, one-to-one, and in smaller groups
  • IT software infrastructure experience, information security knowledge is a plus
  • Fluent in English
  • First degree in business, law, or economics is desirable
  • You can be located in any major city in China with close proximity to an international airport
