The challenge

At a time where online privacy is a necessary and fundamental right for individuals, it can seem a daunting world to navigate for the everyday consumer. The threats to the individual are many, and it is often difficult to know who to trust. Avira is a 30+ year old cybersecurity company from Germany that is part of NortonLifeLock. The Team

You will be a key part of our Regional Growth Team dedicated to finding new and effective ways to grow our user base. You will work alongside our other Growth and Content Managers. We would expect you to be equal parts collaborative and independent in nature, so that you can hit the ground running and truly make an impact within this exciting team.

Your Role

As a Growth Manager (English speaking markets) you will play an important role in expanding Avira’s footprint in new markets. You will support the Senior Growth Managers by guiding new users through the marketing funnel via digital customer acquisition, developing key partnership relationships, while playing an important role in growing our brand presence on social media and other channels.

You will be located in either Munich, Berlin and/or home office in the UK

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performance marketing on a variety of networks (Facebook, Google, etc.)
  • Support with affiliates and publishing partners
  • Managing multiple projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Data analysis
  • Hypotheses development and campaign evaluations
  • Preparing reports for management meetings

Your Skill Set

  • Degree in Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Media or Communication
  • Must be independent and self-starting
  • Must be a native English speaker/writer
  • Needs to possess excellent communication skills
  • Solid understanding of digital platforms and the nuances of each
  • Affinity for data and eCommerce
  • Competence in Microsoft Office (especially Excel!)
